Synopsis

The film follows the final years of the short life of Billie Holiday, the greatest and most seductive black singer of all time when, at the peak of her career, she is targeted by the Narcotics police during an undercover operation led by FBI agent Jimmy Fletcher, with whom she has a passionate and tumultuous affair.
